After much going back and forth. I have decided to go to Stevens. I have done a lot of research on different companies. After being a CNC operator for the past 8 years I'm glad to start a new chapter in my life.

Stevens was my first driving job. OTR training is first rate and equipment is nice and well maintained. The major downside is that they expect you to stay out 5-6 weeks at a time. Since you live in Detroit, I'd recommend that you get your passport and volunteer for Canada loads, that will get you by the house regularly.
CMacho60, Bobcat Tail and Puppage Thank this. -
I have a enhanced license that gets me across the border now. Will that be fine as a truck driver or should I get a passport too?

The Enhanced D/L is all you need to drive into Canada. The passport is needed if you fly.
CMacho60 Thanks this. -
We're always wanting Canada drivers. Your enhanced license is all you need.

If a trip home means I got to take a go home load to Canada I'm good with that.

I see Stevens trucks going through Columbus all the time. Have yet to see one that looked worn.

Why do some Stevens trucks say contractor division on the door? They look the same as most other Stevens trucks.
