CDL School Question

Did you try Prime, they have training and they will accept 21 Yrs. old. I went to their orientation in Pennsylvania and was unable to obtain a medical card due to a prior issue with high blood pressure. They only did a urinalysis. they are also headquartered in Missouri. You can apply online!

 

It is my understanding that while in trucking company provided CDL schooling you'll be responsible for most of your meals. Also, when you go out with a trainer after schooling you'll be responsible for your meals. You'd be making money then, but whether the checks are coming in before you starve to death is another matter. Trucking sounds like a profession where you should be able to come with nothing but the shirt on your back, but I think the truth is you need a LITTLE money before starting your journey. I'm working on getting into CDL school myself, so I'm not speaking from experience, but this is what I've gathered. Hope everything works out well for ya!

 

First of all drugs are stupid. That being said...if u shave ur head they'll take it from other parts of body. Stop doing drugs. Clean ur system for 3 months then go. Of u come up positive will be hard to get a job.

 

Dude. Suicide is not the answer. Turn your life to Jesus. He will provide. I'm pretty much homeless. Everything I got is in a storage unit. Wife rides with me. I filing bankruptcy and sheriff is selling my house. My pickup is up for repo and I have nothing left. Suicide seems like easy way out but that is a lie from the pit of hell. Do you know what it's like to tell your wife we can't have food some days because of no money. Dude been there. Keep your head up. Keep trucking on. Try USA truck, urine only.

I also saw something about PAM only doing a ua. The other site I've been looking at is called Trucking Truth. Go the site and do a search for hair follicle. There's a few threads. One is several pages long.

My problem is actually employment history. I was unemployed for almost 2 years. I have a minimum wage going nowhere job right now. I'm looking for something better. So far I haven't put in any apps. I want to make sure they do all the checks BEFORE I actually quit my job and go to orientation.

I'm sorry your feeling hopeless right now. I've been there! Last year was really bad. I hope you're able to find a company that will take you.

I don't call myself a sheep. I'm not going any further than this with you on religion topic. Not that I don't want to or can't but the mods patrolling this site will get their panties in a wad if we keep going. They'll close thread or delete it and the main focus is trying to help u get a job.

That being said I know Crete/Shaffer is us only. But usually only hire the best students. Very picky so if interested in them be at the top of ur game in school. I say them too because they pay highest cpm for non flatbeds starting out. Good luck.

 

Not sure on their age requirement as I was over 23, heck over 30 when got hired
