If you don't stand your ground and you let them walk all over you a DISPATCHER will....... every chance they get
48Packard Thanks this. -
Wait, you aren't getting short haul pay when you pick up a load and drive it 20 miles to relay at the OC? Is this something new? When I was regional, I always got short haul pay for ANY load whether I was relaying it or not. The only time I did not was when I requested the relay for personal reasons.
-
Nope, I expected to and called her about it to see what was up and she said no short haul pay on relays. I'm otr too, not regional.
-
you should tell he to #### off that will help or just refuse the load
48Packard Thanks this. -
That is BS, sorry, I would talk to someone else, even when I was OTR I got short haul pay. It isn't YOUR fault it has to be relayed. If you requested the relay it would be a different story, but if they give you a load to pick up and have you drop it at the yard 20 miles away because it doesn't deliver for another week, that isn't your fault.
-
might be a change for the worse , who can say anymore with this company. there arent very diligent in communication.
-
If I were the one to deliver it I would run it. Here in MD we allow 1000 lb tolerance on all but gross. Not sure about elsewhere though.
No sir. That will not lighten the trailer axles. -
No short-haul pay for finaling a relay. Another rip-off courtesy of Chris Lofgren.
How many more things will go against the driver at SNI before people say the hell with it? -
Yea when I was over the road I picked up a hazmat relay, and took it 7 miles to the oc, and no short haul pay for me either. Said its only if you deliver the short haul.
