On Hypoid DAF in South Africa Meritor is standard.
Reason is cost I think because DAF axles are good.
On the Hub Reduction units we have only ever changed one diff.

so your benefit of having cabover is to get extra space on front overhang of trailer, but how much in practice you can get forwards?

is by the chance any of trailer axles steer? or at least selfsteerable?

98989- 6-7 feet without a whole lot of hassle, if I'm going more than that, you're going to look at a lot of railroad ties bridging the load up higher to avoid taking out the deck/ frame in dips.

Cat sdp - 270-inch factory wheelbase.

    JarradS - 460hp N14 Cummins, 13-speed, 3.55s, 11R24.5s

JarradS, Cat sdp and Cetane+ Thank this.
