Hi
I am wondering what an O/O would make per mile.
There is 2 jobs. Both by the mile
I will try and give as much info as i can
1 superb End dump, Trailer provided free as long as i keep it safe and maintained.
From BC to AB and back loaded both ways, and MT miles paid also
And wait time i guess it paid also
I have to provide my own insurance for truck and Non Owned for trailers. Also i need general liability and cargo insurance ( i have these already no big deal )
Job 2 is basically the same but its just a tridem end dump.
Basically i am just curious what i should make by the mile with my own truck so i know a ball park figure before i get the call back .
Thanks
O/O Rate ?? Need info

your cost to run your truck per mile + YOUR salary per mile + expected profit per mile = what you need per mile
easy isn't it? -
Oh yeah for sure, i was just wondering what the average was for an O/O with the info i gave but i see your point its what i think i am worth .. thank you

I wish companies would all get with the program and start advertising in kilometres. My odometer ain't in miles.
Don't forget your fuel surcharge. Check http://www.fca-natc.org/HOMEPAGE.HTM
Ideally, your rate will change with the diesel price. -
98% of self proclaimed O/O's have no clue as to what their real cost per mile is...so thats where you need to start. Dont exclude youself as a driver making a wage, unless you want to work for free and your company only makes the money.
