I've got it narrowed down to these two companies so far: Abilene Motor Express and Ozark Motor Lines.

    Pros of Ozark Motor Lines
    Home weekends
    APU's with inverters
    Pet friendly
    100% no touch

    Pros of Abilene Motor Express
    Automatic trucks
    Pet Friendly
Potential for a lot of miles
    Can Idle

I wanted to just compare the pros that I could find because I couldn't find any cons for these companies. Maybe someone could help me out with that. I'm going to give each of these companies a call, just trying to get a little more information before calling.

Hey Ford Both are good ones to work for. But for me I rather have my hand on that stick and be able to shift when I want to not have the trk do it for me. The apu and inverter are a good deal you can have a microwave and a small fridge in your trk and be able to cook and have cold drinks the only thing I would check on is to see if they are running super singles I hate them having duels make better tracking in snow and bad weather and if you blow a drive you can still roll super you sit there until help comes so your chose is up to you as I said they are both good ones to work for.

Ozark runs duals, as I believe Abilene does as well. Abilene's trucks come equipped with a refrigerator and an inverter. The idea of an automatic doesn't bother me, especially with a bum left knee that works right when it wants to, which sometimes coincides with when I want it to work right lol Plus, been dealing with automatics for the past 13 years in the Army driving trucks, so used to it.

There are two great Abilene threads on here. Read Johnboys for a while. They seem to be a pretty good company and they pay better than most.

Ozark does a lots of Fed Ex. Lots of night driving. If you are OK with that then they might work well for you.

All companies are going to automatics in the near future. Both companies you list are good to great companies.

The Ozark Mountains are in Missouri which as you all know is the greatest state in the Nation while Abilene is either Kansas or Texas. Both of which are overrated.

    So I vote MIZ ZOU.

Abilene is near Richmond VA and yes autos tad expected to top 70% of new truck sales in the next three years.
