Memphis, TN on i40 sucks. So does i5 and the 99 in Ca, feels like dirt roads.
Best would have to be i90 through Montana in the summer. Beautiful scenery + no traffic.
Best and worst places to drive?

Anywhere west of I95 works for me...although I hate Chicago and Baltimore/DC. Put me in Podunk Ohio or Indiana and I'm happy
77smartin Thanks this. -
California is the worst. Here i am minding my own business until i cross into cali. Boom 55. Even though its s wide open desert road for 4 hours? Yup, 55, and stay on right lane too filthy trucker.

Well #### you toookiedokie and bulldog522002 Thank this. -
I'll take Southern California traffic over Northeast traffic any day. Although that's like choosing between breaking your left leg or your right... either way is gonna suck. I prefer to run anywhere south of I40 with a few exceptions. Not that it matters to my employer

I-80 is Nebraska and I-70 in Kansas were the worst for me. I am use to traffic on I-95 in NY. So I had a really hard time staying awake with miles and miles of nothing.

What do you do about low bridges if you can't turn around because its a one way or something?
-
Indiana and Ohio are the best...off the interstates.
-
now see i cant wait to get to 80
boom I'm gone the miles fly by
all of a sudden another 700 miles is gone
Ia NE WY UT are the best
of course I have to pay for that with 2 days in CA -
Brooklyn or the Bronx in a Snowstorm-- It just doesn't get any better than that!

My absolute favorite is to jump off the big road in the New England states including upstate NY and northern CT.
Worst would be I95 from 91 to the NY state line. Chicago drivers have to be the biggest collection of jerks in the country with Atlanta a close number 2. PA back roads aren't all that fun if you're heavy (which I almost always am). Same in northern Arkansas/Missouri. Oh and those mule trails that Indiana tries to pass off as roads.Honch Thanks this. -
Ok worst: Dallas, rush hour:Atlanta: (Seattle,Auburn,Tacoma after 1 pm or morning rush hour. 1 1/2 hours to get 25 miles! OH and Portland is terrible after 2pm.
