Just wondering what kind of boost you guys get coming down a good grade with the jakes holding you back...

04 C15 I'm only getting 5, MAYBE 10lb at the most some times... Doesn't seem right in this truck....

Ive got an 02 shaker with a 6NZ set at 550 and I usually get about 20 lbs showing on the gauge with 63,100 kgs on my back.. We've got a C15 ACERT twin turbo in an 06 shaker and for the life of me I can't remember what it would show on the boost gauge. Both of these cats have fuel pressure temp sensor mod too so that may have something to do with a little higher boost, Im not 100% sure!

5 psi. 99' detroit S60 non-egr with BW 171702 turbo. 12 mph downhill @ 80k on eastbound I-90 mountains (namely homestake). I will be making radio contact with any truck that appears to be coming up fast behind me. Try to go over the passes when traffic is lighter, at night if possible. It is my only complaint with this engine. It is also tuned by BullyDog to the fuel economy setting; the power setting does't make the jake stronger at all. Just the way it is I guess.

Our series 60 gets 20lb coming down the coquihalla..

Interesting about the fuel pressure temp sensor, never thought of that..

Our C12 with twin turbos also gets around 20-25 pounds...

    #### this C15, nothing but trouble the past year.

if it's not de-rated you may have charge air leak, maybe?

electronic engines dont fuel when the jake is operating so none of this matters, except air leak
