I'll probably have to go through schneider finance, maybe even lease a truck if I can't purchase one with no down payment or at least a very small down payment. Unfortunately I made the mistake of cosigning on a friend's credit card so he could buy tires for his truck and help boost his credit score. I found out 2 months ago he missed 3 payments in a row and the account was closed. I had to pay $721 to pay off the account before it did any more damage from credit score. I went from a score of 711 to 580. It's probably about 620-650 now but still horrible considering what I had.

My credit rating was around 490 when I leased. They're way more concerned with how you answer questions in the interview to determine whether or not you have the ability to turn a profit. As long as you can do that, they'll always get their payments LOL.

i did some research for you , you can still do the lease with a balloon it's a purchase .. But structured as a lease for tax purposes .

If you got any other questions I'll try to get you some answers . When you plan on making the jump ?

Ok here we go, see if this one works. Thanks for the help guys :)

EDIT: For those who don't know the load board, ignore the column that says "Est Origin Empty Miles", it's not my actual mileage. My actual miles run is in the two columns together, "Loaded Miles" and "Empty Miles".

For you guy that are on choice program do you or did you have a "fall back" account set up prior to joining? Like a bank account with some emergency funds for those slow weeks or breakdowns?

Matt yes I have a Business account which I keep several months worth of emergency funds. I pay myself a set amount every week as a salary and the full settlement goes into account. I then pay myself to keep personal and business seperate. I also have operating money in there if needed. You never know when you may need a hotel or buy fuel with cash in case they don't take efs or a lube job or maintenance which I pay for with cash. So yes you need start up money in an account you can access any time YOU want and for whatever you want.
