At home for the holiday. PHX O/O division (Logan)has been calling me saying I'm eligible for my own truck now. I've been thinking about it especially since I've been drinking for an owner. Just don't know if now is the right time.

Consider leasing a used truck. The original lease is for 208 weeks (4 years) so if you find a pre-leased truck it will be less than 4 years old. Even though it only had 1,750 miles on it my truck was considered used and my lease was for 192 weeks instead of 208. There are PLENTY of used trucks to lease in the Swift/IEL system at any given time.

    BlackBeard Thanks this.

I think he may have slipped in an extra zero there. Unless he has one of those combo CPAP/microwave ovens...

Swift installs 300W true sine wave inverters for company drivers with CPAP machines. My CPAP only draws 60W max.

That's the route that I want to go when I make that step. I'm driving for an owner and trying to get a good feel for running this business is a challenge.
