Wannabe is SoCal, Career change at 58!

A little update, my TSA background check for my HazMat and TWIC came back OK! Good to go! Glad my OLD Felonies didn't come back to haunt me! Start school on the 7th of July!

 

Well, bad news the EDD case manager had told me WIA funding would be ready July 1st, now he's telling me end of August or September! I don't want to wait so I either going to pay with a credit card or do the company paid sign my life away deal! On a side note I got my passport in the mail today, and in the process of cert of rehabilitation to be able to enter Canada, more paper work and hoops to jump through! But it is possible to get it, felonies have to be OLD more than 10 yrs.

 

I talked to the school I was planning on using the WIA funding on, they are going to give me a discount if I pay with my credit card so I will start on 7-14 ($3,000 cost) and it is the closer of the only 2 schools in my area that Schneider Tanker accepts from, I'm talking to them about a job in LA intermodal so I can stay in Cali, if not I'll move back to MO.

 

Ok, Signed up and Paid the school today, start on Monday!

So, this is the start of week 4, I'm scheduled for DMV Testing on Friday! I'm ready to do this! Also looks like I will be starting with Schneider Bulk.
