Just hauling water in and out of fracs mostly
for now I took the camp job, try it out, I can come back to ball dropping if I want, or do something else if I don't like it at surmont. I've been around firebag a bit and it was pretty impressive. -
Best of luck to you. Hope it works out for you.

Hey thanks!
The thought of being an o/o still intrigues me, kinda a scary proposition but I have lotsa family that do it so may not be too bad... Dunno, I do know that you never get anywhere unless you out yourself out there an take some risks! -
Out of curiosity, what can you make in a year doing the camp job you are taking ? And what you posted regarding the wages earlier...is that typical for that type of work (Class 3 Fluid/Water Hauling) ?

Actually late Friday my boss and I talked and I ended up staying where I am. But the camp job was a union clac gig and was about 75k/ year for the first 3 months then after probation goes up to 90k, then after a year 106k. Not sure if that's good for class 3 stuff. I know when I was class 1 fluid hauling pullin trains I was 7-10k/month on a 14/7 shift.
