Question about shaving for bulk orientation...is it absolutely no facial hair at all? Short and groomed? Also does it have to be the entire span of orientation or just during the bulk training period? Day 5 I think..

Mustache cannot extend past the sides of the mouth. Plan on it being that way the entire time starting day one.

Some require it. To avoid problems we are all required to do it. :(

Things are good, it is HOT here in Houston. Class work done, offload training done. All easy stuff. You literally have to try to fail. The answers are in front of you the entire time. You carry laminated papers with every procedure you're going to do with you for everything but the road test. The trainers are all really cool and EXTREMELY thorough. Just wrapped up day 1 with the TE. Finish with him tomorrow and test out Wednesday and Thursday. Hoping to have a load running by the house this weekend to pick up the rest of my things for the truck. Overall a good experience. The hardest part of it all is finding things to pass the time while you're stuck at the hotel. I missed the call from Mike on Friday because I was still training. Tried to get ahold of him today...left 2 messages but never got a reply. All he wanted to know was when I would be ready for a load. But I got his email from a bulk IC message on the Qualcomm today so I'll try to contact him again tomorrow. All in all it's a good experience. Definitely geared more towards new drivers straight out of school, but that's not a big deal.

    realsupatrucka Thanks this.
