Hey people!
Hope you all doing all right. Well I'll cut to the chase
I got my Class A on May 30th. I took a 600 hour course at a CDL school. Flash forward
I flirted with Swift for about 3 weeks. I had gotten a couple Job Leads locally, and actually went on a test drive last Wednesday. So I says to myself maybe I CAN get a local job and well, after reading all the hate towards Swift I flaked. Before I went on the test drive though I previously started flirting with Knight. I was spose to go to Knight Orientation this Monday, and the local company didn't call me till this prior Wednesday. Well since the July 4th weekend was here I didn't get the ticket conf# till Sat. I go down to Greyhound and they are closed. They close at 2 on Sat? Anyway She told me to ask Greyhound Driver to let me on with the confirmation number. That just sounds crazy whack to me. It may happen and the security guard told me it depends on the driver but if that's the case anyone could get on a greyhound and exploit that. So I hope I didn't burn a bridge. I'm fully prepared to leave too and would of. Hopefully this Sat. This stuff doesn't go on my DAC does it?
I flaked on Swift, and Knight got me my ticket too late

No, that won't go on your DAC report. You are not an employee until after orientation. Once you have been to a company's orientation then they can put stuff on your DAC report.
Go-Go and Neon Cthulhu Thank this. -
Neon Cthulhu Thanks this.

Actually both companies are going to draw and quarter you, taking turns. I would hide....... Under the blankey.... Lights out.

I'm curious as to why, after completing a 600 hr. course, you chose Knight or Swift.

"Flirted with Swift for 3 weeks"
What does that mean? Did you drive with Swift with a trainer and quit?dog-c Thanks this. -
600 hours I didn't know they came that big. I would yrc. Driver training. There pay is low but not for someone with no experience.

If your local Dog office is closed and you have a confirmation number, the driver is supposed to allow you on the bus until the next stop that has an open ticket counter. (The major centers are open 24/7/365.) There, he will accompany you to the ticket counter to get your ticket.
I believe that he will call to verify your confirmation before letting you on the bus.Go-Go Thanks this. -

This won't go on your DAC.You got the ticket confirmation on the day you was scheduled to get on the Greyhound? What you need to do if you haven't already done so is call your recruiter,he will reschedule for next Mondays orientation and will get you a different confirmation number.Since you didn't take the bus no money is lost on Knights end. Then bebop on down to Greyhound and get your bus ticket.
