I added a lot of chrome to my truck so when it is clean it turns heads. I am dedicated now and can go home every weekend, and instead of paying for a Blue Beacon wash, I was surprised at how quickly and easily I can wash my own truck at home. At first I bought a $500 pressure washer but discovered without the hot water it isn't that effective for the price. So I took it back and just got a cheap soap sprayer attachment from Walmart for my waterhose. The thing that surprises me as how quickly I can wash my truck as I figured it would take a long time to do. Here is all I did... went to home depot to get an extension pole with the big sponge attachment. This product is used to clean commercial windows.
I also bought a wide Sterling container that I use to put soap and water in. So I use my Walmart soap sprayer and spray soap on one side of the truck and let it sit for a little bit. I then soak my sponge in the soap container, and just do a once over on the one side of the truck covered with soap. I rinse it off, and do the same with the other side. I also have a sponge with a short handle to do the rims as well. After I put tire shine on the tires, the truck looks spotless clean like a blue beacon washed it.
A quick way to keep my truck spotless clean

All that time, work and money you're spending you must be an O/O.

Or maybe he's just a company driver who takes pride in his ride...............

If you enjoy the job you do, you'll never work a day in your life.
I am always impressed by a well maintained truck out on the road.

I plumbed a hot water line out of my shop bathroom to the outside so I could run it through my pressure washer. It works great, but you have to be careful or you'll drain your hot water tank fast.

True and I commend him for that.I'm all for a shiny trk inside and out. When I was otr I kept my trk spotless but unless the company reimbursed me I would not spend money on chrome and all the added extras to get that trk looken beautiful.Heck you could have the trk one day and the next day the company is trading it off.Now if I was an O/O then heck yes make that trk look like its ready for the show room floor. But like a member said pictures.I would like to see just how nice it looks. It has to be worth showing off and bragging it up.

My point was that it only took about 15 minutes. Plus some of my neighbors have hot wives who like to come talk to me while I am outside.
