I currently have Metro, am wondering how the service works nationwide? I've only used it in the SE, but I'm about to start running all 48. Opinions please?

From what I understand, Metro PCS offers their Metro USA nationwide roaming coverage at no extra charge. Leap Wireless (Cricket) and Metro PCS seem to have formed an alliance to expand their coverage nationwide so between the two it looks like you'd be ok in most areas.

    Hi Knuckle!

Are you still using Metro and how are they working out for you? I'm considering dropping AT&T and switching to Metro. AT&T has worked fine for me nationwide including data. However I'm tired of the huge expense. I know you get what you pay for and I know metro used to stink. I've heard they are better now and they've caught my interest with the unlimited data. What do you or anyone else think?

people might start looking into cricket. they seem to have the biggest footprint now. but they are gsm. unlimited internet, talk, text for $60. but your throttled after 5 gigs. they have a $40 plan and your throttle after 500 megs.
