I have been in the same cube farm for 18 years as of yesterday. The only problem, they pay me to much to leave. If the ax ever does fall, then I will come to Prime. Good luck to you.

Hello ironpony, I am thinking about applying to Prime's student driver program, and was wondering how many years of tax returns did you have to provide for them? I have the last four years of mine but am missing my 2009 return.

Hi there Charlami, I am interested in Prime as well, and am also from NC. Can you tell me if Prime requires you to get a Hazmat endorsement as well as the tankers endorsement?
-
I know you asked Charlami, but I can say that yes, you will have to get a hazmat endorsement but not right away. Hazmat endorsements do not transfer from state to state so you will get that after you get your CDL transferred to your home state.hal380 and leviathanish Thank this.

What he said.
Went last night for a sleep study. Been tired all day. I'm holding out hope that I've improved and will no longer need cpap. I've lost about 130 so far. My insurance is met for the year so I figured why not so it and take the report with me so hopefully they will take it and I won't have to finance that test.leviathanish and hal380 Thank this. -
That was just to prove my employment for the years I claimed self employment. Fortunately, I filed my taxes and had a schedule A included that listed my business deductions.
As previously noted, you don't want to do this until you're ready to transfer your CDL back to your state of residence, but you'll need to have your background check done in advance. You need to get your tanker endorsement even if you're a reefer guy because of some of the freight we pull.
That being said, if you "neglect" to do this, Prime hasn't in the past been too bent out of shape over it. That being said. if you don't have them you forego some opportunities for loads that will get you moving on s slow freight day.Last edited: Jul 10, 2014
leviathanish Thanks this. -
Today was my last day at the old job. I was giddy in the car as I left. The weight off my shoulders is amazing. Not having to stress about the calls and money is amazingly lifting.
Now to stress about the new stuff like learning something new and doing my best to be the best I can be.hal380 Thanks this. -
Ahhh.............. The "Great Escape"!
I remember that feeling very well. What a great feeling.
Won't be long for you, now.
