Sorry to see so many people frustrated and leaving. I'm not sure what's going on. My miles were bad a couple weeks ago, but they're amazing out of the house this week. Can't speak for flatbed obviously.

Just finished a 750 mile, 2 stop run in Rockford. Re-loaded in Janesville, WI and now 1050 mile run to South Carolina for the weekend. Crashed out at the J in Beloit.

Well. Officially all done. Truck turned in and am sitting at home eagerly waiting for monday to start my new job. Been nice getting to know most of you and will still pop in on the life after roehl thread from time to time. Best of luck to all of you, even the ones with their heads so far up their arse they're seeing daylight.

    Bull Spit!!!
I accept every load, punch them all in on time. Who the bleep are you to say attitude is the cause? You never met me!
My FM likes me and we have a good working relationship!
    The problem is the loads!!

This one has extra 12 hours on it, that one a day, this one a d/h that's actually a live, and then the one tonight that is a no apt d/h that is actually a 8 am live tomorrow. Who's planning this stuff? And who's feeding me these lies and rookie planned times of arrival???

I'm good at 2500 a week. I consider 2700 a fabulous week. 3100 is a unicorn. But the last 3 weeks of 1800-2000 is like working 70 hours at 5.00 an hour!!!
    It pisses me off!!!

Ran my home load within 2 of the con. Called enroute to ensure knowledge of expected appt info that was failed to be provided me. Since its home load usual customer #2, I know better. Turns out was a live appt at 10, but they offered to do me a personal solid and take me at 8. Two hours early, heck yeah.

For those that don't know me. When I get a mutt week. I eat the frustration and don't complain to fms. It takes a lot to get me riled. But when I do, its volitile.
I usually hope for a better week to come...but three makes a trend.
I cannot abide much more silence, when my family's livelihood is at stake.
I at least need to know if these lite weeks are due to wife's due date. Cause if not, then I'm VERY put off!

You can't tell me that half of the curtain fleet sitting in marshfield the last two days was due to poor attitude and work ethic!
when I signed my paperwork when I started that said 2600 miles a week and I got 600 miles this week and it's FRIDAY; I'm going to be miffed. I've played the 'hope next week is better' game. I've played the 'suck it up and don't say a word' game. Never refused a single load. Never late. If you can't keep me moving I'll find someone that will. I'm disposable? There's drivers lined up for my position? Well I got news for you pal, there's thousands of companies out there that would gladly take someone that wants to run as hard I do.
The work ethic is a ######## excuse for why I'm sitting when I'm constantly early and ready for the next load that second.

And if there's no freight for all the drivers..... QUIT BRINGING IN MORE EVERY SINGLE WEEK.

Less than 1800 for a single week or even 2-3 in a row can sometimes be expected. Especially on weeks that have a 4 day holiday such as July 4th.
But if you are running national, and are averaging "less than 1800 miles per week" as gingersquatch stated, for an extended period of time, then I stand by my comment 100% that the problem is not all on ROEHL, and partially lays on the driver.
Look back over your miles for the past 2-3 months and see what your weekly average is. If it is less than 1800, then you are in the bottom 5% of the fleet, and that is not all on ROEHL and you would be partially to blame.

If you would, please get back to me and let me know what you averaged over the last 6 weeks or so, not including days spent on hometime of course, and I would bet that you are above the 1800 mile mark mentioned in another post.

Don't use the week before or after a major holiday weekend to judge, as those weeks are almost always gonna be bad.
The July 4th weekend had a lot of effect on freight. I only got about 2100 miles for this past week myself because of Jul 4th weekend. And only got about 1100 miles my first week out from home before I got rolling. So bad weeks are gonna happen, but not for an extended period of time.
As I stated in my other thread, look back over your last 6-8 weeks of miles and get the average, (not including days spent on hometime of course)

Same thing can be expected come thanksgiving thru about early Feb time frame. For that 2.5 month period, freight really drops and miles will be effected.
So don't let 2-3 weeks make you feel it is the norm.
I stand by my comment that anyone who is averaging less than 1800 miles per week ( for an extended period of time)cannot put all the blame on ROEHL and is partially responsible themselves.
As I posted earlier, get back to me with your last 6 weeks of miles and see what your average is. I suspect that it is above 1800 per week.

If I'm getting an average of 1800 miles a week and I signed on for 2600 a week I'm not happy. At my pay rate that's more than $300 I'm missing out on every single week. If you decided with a company because they offered you $20 an hour only to have them give you $15 I'm pretty sure you'd be disappointed, too.
