anyone ever blow the air horn for kids driving by?

I'll do it if I know the parents/driver is aware of the situation. If not, the kids get a fake horn tug. They'll get over it and look for the next truck. It's nothing but a game to them.

I'm not sending shock waves up a stranger's spinal cord. I refuse to play the role of Billy Big Rigger.

 

Pretty much every time as long as were not in stop and go traffic or bad weather. I really love doing for kids waiting for the bus out in the country.

Same here. That's why I like taking the back roads sometimes through small towns this time of year. Lots of kids out that fist pump.

The Volvo system kind of spoils it for me though.

 

I drive a school bus, for the time being. Had this happen to me on the Interstate. I knew the truck was passing me but it still startled me. Middle school kids, PITA and brain dead for sure!

 

No air horn for the kids,but I love to get on it when I drive by you tired drivers parked on the on/off ramps at 3 or 4 am when you have no hazard lights or triangles out...hehe

 

Darwinism was trying to do its job. Blow the horn, CDL holders aren't the only ones that should be aware of their surroundings.

 

Hit the horn and the jake at the same time, that really light"s up the kiddy"s faces......and mine to....

 

We should All be glad kids even have the thought to ask a driver to honk.
Most kids are texting,or watching a movie,or some headphones.
I do it,and makes me smile to see kids get so excited,then flash all the ladies
a little nip action while Im awake.
I try to give back to everyone while driving,cept dads,they don't get any horn,or flash.
