I'll never forget when my brother said, "You want to see my most valuable possession?"

    "Sure!"

He pulled out his CDL and showed it to me.

    Always protect your CDL.

Not such a great idea doing that kind of speed when you have a CDL.....you know those clowns in DOT hold us to a higher level, but quite frankly, what's the big deal here. It all depends on where you were speeding and what car you were driving. Looking at your prev then you should have known better.
but for some reason you Americans are pretty anal about anything over 85mph...
If he was driving a Porsche or a Mercedes, then 133 mph is a piece of cake, as long as you're driving on a quiet straight road in the middle of nowhere. I've done my fair share of speeding years ago in the UK where excessive speeding is just part of life and not regarded as reckless.
Did 140mph once in my Dads Mercedes, heading south on the M1 highway towards London, one quiet Sunday morning. It just felt like it nothing, quite honestly. If it was a Ford, then yikes!! No way.
Glad you've hired a lawyer, because as you know, you have to play the "system"
good luck on your endeavors, and hopefully it will work out.
Just regard this as a massive wake up call.

Easy to do on a bike. 130-160 no problem. Fully loaded Yamaha touring bike would cruise all day at 130 and never break a sweat. ( ok, long before cdl way out west crossing desert)

BUT... you kinda have to work to get those speeds in a 4wheeler.... let alone keep speed that high long enuf to get caught. Cdl changes the whole perspective. I just bought a go slow Jeep. Speedo only goes to 100. I'd need a very long mountain to get that fast! Slow is good.
Hou vot a cdl? Obey the speed limits when driving anything. Way cheaper than a ticket.

that was mercedes … not a bike … money is not an object .. of course reasonably , i just want to keep my cdl , don't care much about getting hired or insurance , need cdl from time to time to drive the truck when drivers can not or leaving , repairs , maintenance … i like to drive truck myself too
don't need comments how idiot or how stupid i am … its obvious … just trying to get and advice (besides attorney) if i have any other options , everyone makes mistakes , and i knew whats gonna happen if i floor it … was too tempting , was 4 lane hwy , 2 lanes were empty … did not put anyone in danger . state trooper handcuffed me , but did let go after , refused to drop the speeding .

I didn't know they made vehicles that fast anymore. How long was you traveling at 133 before the officer pulled you over?Think the only option u have is to hire an attorney to get the ticket reduced. You realize you made a mistake but you can see why companies take things like this seriously can't you?
