    Got the final word yesterday and had the pre orientation call today. I am headed to Indianapolis Monday afternoon to start orientation. It couldn't come any sooner as I have been going stir crazy with not having anything to do throughout the day after my 8 years of being in the Corps. But finally I will have something to do with my days. I am hiring on for regional out of Obetz so looks like i will get to know the Chez Obetz Resort very well lol. Well cant wait till i join all of you on the road and i just want to say thank you to all of you that have answered the questions that i have had.

    Seriously though, welcome. Pay attention. Ask alot of questions. Get Lance frustrated. Hehehe. But do the "homework". There will be extra exercises to do in the highway to success book. Do them. Only helps you in the end. Take your time and if in doubt, think it out . NO drinking in off time. You are on a 3 week interview. Act professionally but have fun too. See ya when all is said and done at the resort.

    Well getting the last bit of my stuff ready. Looking to head to indy sometime around noon or so tomorrow just to beat the rush hour traffic out that way. The route I'm looking at is 270 to 70w. From what I have seen along the way though there is a couple small stretches of construction. Anyone have any insight as to what the best time to head that way from columbus is? Check in is after 3 so noon would put me right at that time. Thanks in advance for the info.

    noon/noon thirty is good. short stretches maintaining 2 lanes in those zones in ohio at 55. Indiana has 55 unless the strobes are flashing meaning workers present then its 45. Maybe a mile perhaps 2 miles long?

    Being in a car you get to run 70mph outside of town its right at 180 miles depending on where in columbus you are starting from. Usually from Obetz to Indy OC its right at 180miles.
