Actually the light just went off after it had been on about 1100 miles. Trucks been shut off and started probably 10 times since, including twice for 12 hours at a time. started it up today, light was still on, then it went off 10 miles down the road and it went off

    Now it came back on.

Talked to a local shop today and he said if they had the parts they needed they'd get it done tomorrow. I'm not in a big town, so theirs no guarantee they won't have to wait til next week on parts though

I just had exactly the same but on a paccar mx,the engine derated after 2 days and the stealer i stopped at didn't have the injector in stock. When he cleared the code the problem didn't go away but it did reset the timer for the code to come back again, i drove a further 12 hours and it's just come back on. Peterbilt in fredericton, NB took it apart and cleaned it but it still didn't work so be careful of DIY repairs..... it has cost me $819 so far and the injector has yet to be fitted, it's being flown from toronto.
I ##### hate peterbilts with a passion and especially the gouging stealerships!!!

I know it's a old thread but in case you are in Charlotte NC the cost to replace the injector is $1002 kinda price but I had to get it done.

I would use carb cleaner instead of brake cleaner. Brake cleaner leaves a residue that is apparently a soot magnet, I'm just sayin'....

I have a 2007 Cummins ISX2 (03684275). DPF fuel injector 1 no response + EGR Delta Pressure.I've also had DPF fuel injector 1 low voltage. Can't do a manual regen. Tried it a few minutes ago which resulted in the code DPF fuel injector 1 no response and EGR delta pressure and a puff of smoke coming from under the hood. Also when idling the truck lopes (rhythmic jumps in rpms maybe 10). Causes the truck to rock side to side increasing gaining momentum till it either stops or I rev the rpms. Even then it will randomly continue at will. Any ideas?
