I had a bad experince, my company had recently got two transmission from LKQ Western Truck Parts in Denver.

We took my truck in to get it warrantied because the transmission was running 300° It was less than 3 weeks in the truck, I moved 4 loads with it.

Basicly lost a lot of money on this deal, it cost me 11,245.00 to have the transmission installed along with a core exchange and having a new clutch put in and the rear main replaced. Now I am going to be buying another transmission from another vendor and fighting to get my money for this transmission back. It is a pretty bad deal.

If you take the time to watch the long version of the video, they never looked for why the transmission was bad, they looked for reasons to void the warranty.

The oil in the trans was badly burnt, but they did not tell me this, they didn't even mention water in the fluid.

All they said was that a slight amount of play in the drive shaft from the rubber around the carrier bearing was causing the transmission to run hot.

I knew this was a lie and the video confirmed it.

You can even hear the service writer in the video say "We took it for a test drive I didn't feel any vibration in it. You think we can make an issue out of it?"

I forwarded the video to LKQ's corporate office and have yet to receive a response.
