    What about warranty? If the warranty isn't long then I guess I could wait it out and after it's up, wipe out the hard drive and intstall XP. Like I said. I played around Vista a bit and didn't care for it but if it'll void the warrany or any chance of having the computer fixed if something went wrong then I guess I'll have no choice but to deal with Vista. I'm a big fan of the old 95, 95 Plus, 98 (love this one) and XP. I hated 2000 beyond a purple passion. I got rid of the home PC I got a hold of that had 2000 on it. Nothing but problem's. I got fed up and gave it away. So far for the past 2-3 year's I've been playing with XP, it's been pretty good to me. I guess I'll have to give it another world and spend some time with it. I only played with it for about 20 minutes or so at a friend's house.

    I've got vista on my lap top haven't had any problems yet . The dell refurbished units come with a full warranty plus you can extend them . Also you can get a warranty that covers everything if you drop it if you spill a drink on it or anything else you do to it they will fix it or replace it .

    Verizon's "UNLIMITED" is NOT "UNLIMITED". They cancel your account if they think you are using too much bandwidth (over 5GB a month) like D/L movies.
    SPRINT is the only service that has TRUE "UNLIMITED". $59.99 a month for unlimited "Broadband" service. Sprint is by far the best....as well as the FASTEST (tested as high as 5MBS in some areas). I have personally experienced speeds as high as 2.5MBS

    I just got a Lenovo R61 off eBay. 2007 model refurbished for $346 DELIVERED to my house. And yes its got XP.
