You, your and you're are like there, their and they're. Learn them before trying to explain yourself. Perhaps this was part of your trouble at Celadon. I couldn't even make it through the first paragraph with rereading each sentence a couple times. Sorry to harpon this, but communication is vital in this business. Surely, you could have done better than a large carrier if you really have 16 years of experience.

Yes indeed, with 16 years experience he should have known better than to sign a flease with a mega.TruckDuo, Lonesome, Western flyer and 1 other person Thank this.

I hate to say it because I'm the biggest grammar Nazi I know (and this place drives me bats**t crazy because of it), but there are some pretty set-in-stone rules about correcting people's grammar on here.OPUS 7 Thanks this.

Anyone who receives, reviews, and accepts an agreement where they can not see what a disfunctional business model this agreement is, has no business going into business.

So Uncle Sam just hands Celadon 10k....when? Are there any requirements for Celadon to receive 10k or does the HR Department just tell someone in DC hey you owe us for 138 students this month?

It's not just Celadon. Swift, Schneider and JB Hunt all have the same deal... They get paid by Uncle Sam to train people. There's a form for each new hire to sign either while in training or in orientation before getting the trainers truck. I trained somewhere in the area of 20 students for Swift (2009-2012) and each one had the form with their training packet. When I went through Crete orientation last year they had the same forms for the 2 rookies in our group. Most if not all of the megacarriers (and some of the smallish ones) are in on this.Last edited by a moderator: Jul 22, 2014
