I have as well. Usually leads to "Oh you're out of Seagrams for my 7 & 7? Cherry bomber? That's a good substitute". And end up far drunker than I had originally intended to be.... Lol

Check it out one time I was at one of my favorite places to kick it, and a women there related this to me. She said, if you can afford to go have a nights out and have a some drinks, then you can afford a taxi.
Made sence to me. If you can't afford the expence and plan accordingly then don't do it.

Most of my dispatches are nott ready until after 2000 hours anyways, so finding a way to go pick up my car was pretty easy. I'd eighther catch a bus back or if possible, I'd have some one give me a ride.
Before that, I just wouldn't drink unless I had a designated driver or had someone to pick me up
I just don't do it , becouse I guess, I'm just a cheap ### basterd. I'd rather drink at home and save the money.

Something I'm constantly worried about is the usage of sports supplements. I workout very frequently and have never done or will do any illegal training substance because my job is too valuable. However, preworkout supplements have become almost necessary to strum up the energy for a workout after a long day.I always check labels and thoroughly research listed ingredients. But, these supplements are not regulated by the fda and I'm constantly in fear of ingesting an unlisted ingredient. If this were to ever happen, and I happened to fail a drug test because of it, would i be able to dispute it? or would i just be screwed?

Common now, you know cops usually get away with stuff like that. They tend to call it professional courtesy. At most, if a cop caught another cop driving under the influence, he'd probably just give him a ride hom. Unless the cop was being #### and pissed the other cop off.

Then ya he might take him to jail, but even then he'd call his boss who would still try to get him out of it. If not for him they would probably let him off for the department.

If you have pending charges you most likely will not get hired i may be wrong but highly unlikely. I have had alot of trouble finding work with a couple old felonies for child support. Wish you the best of luck.

    Thanks for the reply moparjoe.
I was under the impression that companies only ask about convictions.
Also background checks only show convictions, not anything pending. Of course I could be completely wrong.
