    It happened on the road.....the "crane" you see in the pic is a wrecker. I'd say lack of securement.

    An interesting photo would be one of a Western Express truck with no damage, now that I would like to see!

    On a serious note I am glad to see it rolled forward and not backwards or side ways killing some innocent bystander. Fortunately the only victim in front of it is the schmuck who didn't secure the load properly.

    All I can say, is that if/when I ever haul coiled steel suicide it will have as much chain as I can fit to secure it, seen too many of these, and worse photos! Scary stuff just thinking about it.

    I always use those felt pads for edge protectors and put about 4 extra chains on.

    It wasn't lack of securement, it was lack of knowledge concerning securement. Often shortened to "clueless."
