How important is a CTB?

    I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on how important (or not) it is to have a CTB for a freight broker?

    Are there any CTB's on this board? Can they explain how it has helped, if at all?

    Are there any shippers or carriers that only want to work with CTBs?

    I do not think it is a very neccesarry certification. We had someone in our office recently get certfied and no real big deal. Not saying you will not learn anything but you will not get any increase in rates or gain any customers because of it.
