I sleep better in the truck than the house. Other than like Red pointed out, about bathroom, parking etc, is some of the reason I stop on my way through for sure. But the other reason is my wife is fine as frog hair and can we say "Brown chicken Brown cow" real fast. LOL

Rocks, RedForeman, BobcatVolvo and 2 others Thank this.

Parked at our Columbus, OH terminal. Will finish this run to St. Louis tomorrow for 0700 Thurs delivery. Hopefully receiver has parking so I don't have to stage at East St.Louis Pilot. Will call and find out in the morning

Lake City Ar, putting on corn out of the bin going to Tyson in Pine Bluff. Just a short little run but it pays.

Pilot in East St. Louis. Could have staged at receiver but no security and I don't like being a sitting duck in areas I am not comfortable in.

Although you can argue I'm not much safer here :biggrin_2559:

Went to Atlanta today in my personal vehicle to get my Brazilian passport renewed... had all the documentation ready + picture, and it took them only 30 mins to get it ready... :yes2557: However, I walked more than one mile, trying to find a freaking post office to buy a money order... :biggrin_2552:till I gave up and went back to my car and drove to the post office... :biggrin_25523:
I was surprised how different the roads and the neighborhoods look now... I used to live in Atlanta and knew that area pretty well... :yes2557: But after 7 yrs or so, everything has changed quite a lot... Many new buildings... businesses have changed, trees have grown... lots of construction everywhere... and the number of vehicles seem to have multiplied... :biggrin_2554: I could not recognize those places and I would have been lost had I not had a GPS... :biggrin_25526:

Now I am back in the hotel... Sent msg to dsp today saying will be back in the truck on Sat.... :biggrin_25519:
