Glad you found a decent job too....now , why not help the OP out and tell him and dennisrock and me and the rest of us just where is this great employer located , and who is it. Or is it a secret......
To the OP....all joking aside that ticket will more than likely get you denied , or passed over by the upper tier companies to begin with. But , you be able to find work , just behave , and be patient. After a few years of ticket / accident / incident free driving , there will more doors open to you.dennisroc Thanks this. -
Don't want to give the exact company. But I work for a paint company delivering paint to their stores and customers in the Chicago area. Hard work, but good pay, starting $18 an hr. With ot after 40 and home every night.

Your job your info I guess ......is yours a semi truck or a straight truck job....But , It would seem that you would share it with the OP....I'm retired been that way since 2011....had the good fortune to do the same thing ( land a great job )...Mine was with GSF ( Golden State Foods ) worked there for over 30 years...had great pay . health ins. , and a great retirement package. Only ran 3 trips a week , Mon. , Wed. & Thurs.....12 days a month , home every night , and grossed a little over 70k a year. I'm not ashamed to call my former employer's name...not at all.....I would recommend the OP try them , But they don't have a DC in Fla. and they won't hire you without at least 3 years experience and 1 of those has to be pulling a reefer trailer , those were the hiring criteria when I left anyhow. But to each his own I guess....BTW....why even comment on a thread , if you aren't willing to give any info to help the OP out...just curious

Right now I drive straight truck, with the opportunity to drive semi later. I posted and somewhat helped by letting him know that it is indeed possible to get a job in his situation. I don't feel comfortable posting too much personal info online, nothing to hide, just like my privacy. If the op wants to pm me, I will tell him, but wont be much help, it is a local job based out of the Chicago area, no interstate busines on this end of the company.

I completely understand the privacy thing. I went back and read your 1st couple of posts, and I stand corrected. My bad. The OP should not have a problem finding work , I agree....it just more than likely wont be one like yours to start with. You have to be in the right place at the right time usually to get hooked-up line that. Good luck yo both you guys I. Your up-coming careers....stay safe ! Gotta run , got deer stands to put together tonite , then take them out and hang them against a tree or two. Man , I sure do love retirement!

I had a 26 over. Misdemeanor. But that was like 4 years before I got my CDL. Didn't have any issues with it.

Thanks for all the replys, I actually live in GA 2o miles from atlanta. I did have chinatown send me a list so I will try those. I graduate Aug 27th. I will attend traffic school to atleast get the points removed. I was stupid driving on 75 south ga in the middle of nowhere. I'am tired of being a REPO man! Got almost killed 2 times, I have 2 little girls to take care of . Will keep applying and will update when I get hired.
OPUS 7 Thanks this. -
