There is an old platitude, that says, "never change a job for a woman, because after you do, she will still not be happy." It is not the job, even though that is what is being leveraged at the moment, but about control. You probably have seen this during those 7 years, yet like most, you have hoped it did not matter and tried to pretend that it did not exist.........but it is paramount.
Most married men or those that were, know full well, that it is really true," a woman makes or breaks a man"........ I would say run as fast as you can also, but it is your life. Listen to bergy.......GenericUserName and bergy Thank this. -
Gees dont do that then she'll leave you and take you for child support.

Time apart can also make the time together better.

i got my CDL back in February but guard commitments kept me out of the truck up until now i start training on the 11th. one thing i stressed to my lady was this is a career that can take us anywhere in life. but the good thing about me not being able to drive until now is i had ###### near 6 months to research and find the company that best suited my needs. i found one w/ a terminal 5 seconds from her house, and who moves a lot of fright up and down 75 so i can scoop her up and drop her off w/o her being in the truck too long because of freshly fused disks in her lower back (bad juju considering she's only 23)
just do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do. you don't have to be OTR forever. do what makes you happy those 7 years together aren't worth anything if she cant take 12 months of you paying your dues. -
Since she is not on board with this from the beginning you have to get a local home every day job or a job in another profession altogether.home every weekend isnt going to cut it.there are plenty of local jobs within a reasonable distance no matter where you live.start searching and good luck.
