Dude lets be real. Its been 7 years you ain't put a ring on it so you scared of commitment and she already has her side dude coming over to take care of business. I would tell her to get in line or GET TO STEPPING. AND If she is a cutie tell her to step my way. Tell her you can do bad by yourself, and hang up on her every time she says she misses you. Tell her to save that drama for her mama, and if you still following my directions and your stuff is not on the front lawn, and a restraining order isn't put on you. You have a good gale and see if you can clone her. Yeeeeeee Hawwwwwwwww
P.S Please don't listen to me unless u like being alone.Gunner75, unholy7, Cody1984 and 1 other person Thank this. -
If she were aware of the state of the economy, she would be cheering you for having the motivation to find a career that can be very rewarding financially with proper planning.
Keep the career going.
My nephew went through that; engaged to the homecoming queen. She dumped him because she thought she could do better. Now he's very successful as a mail hauler and she weighs 250 lbs. with horrible teeth. He's doing great with a string of lookers chasing him.
Don't give in to her; move on with the career. Once the albatross is removed from around the neck, you can soar with the eagles. -
If you plan on getting married and/or having kids I'd stay far away from trucking. You will never see her/them. There are other ways to make a living.

Another Chinatown pearl of wisdom!
Hey OP, all joking around aside - I've been single now for about 10 years. Without question I am FAR happier on my worst day single that I was on my best day married. Now, if she's "the one", that's different - but you wouldn't be posting here if that was the case.
Mrh2008 had a very good point. Sell your house / car and live in the truck banking most of what you earn. Most young attorney's are not able to bank 30k per year. -
Yeah man leave the #####. I hate her already and i dont even know her.

Get you a girlfriend that's a driver as well, that's what I did. She understands what this job is all about and she is on the road when I'm on the road (we both have our own trucks, I don't think I could handle doing the team thing). There's a few young, fit, lady drivers out there if you look hard enough.
bergy Thanks this. -
There's even more of them if you don't look hard enough - especially if you take your contacts out.
Beauty is just a light switch away...unholy7 Thanks this. -
If you want to spend the rest of your life with her, then tell her it will be only a few more months and you will be looking local for a driving job, if you don't want to continue the relationship be honest about it, and tell her you want to focus on your career. On a side note 2 days a week is a lot of time to spend with someone, some guys I know live with their girlfriend and only see them 2 nights a week because of schedules. Also you can use Skype and call her on the phone a lot to keep in touch, also if she gives you a hard time, say you are doing this for us.(for a better future). Also ask her would she rather you work 80 hours a week(locally) and too tired to spend any time with her, or work a normal schedule and see her on weekends. Anyway good luck, things always work themselves out in the end anyway.
