yes i leased a new 2015 Evo. My main lanes are from TN to VA to PA to NY to PA to TN with a little bit of the south lately. I live in an area that allows me to run the same freight most weeks thats why i get home as often as I do. I have done as High as 5600+ for a week and my lowest was the 4th of july week but I only ran 2 loads to cover expenses and took off 5 days. It's not as easy as just running the miles there's a lot of load board time I put in to be able to be home as much as I do. If you're not afraid to put in about 4 hours a day just watching and learning the load board you can do very well here.

So far this week I've been able to average 9.0 mpg by slowing down and booking light freight. This week I booked a different lane to learn other freight lanes that SNI has to be able to adjust my running areas if the need arises in the winter.
knuckledragger Thanks this. -
Do you know if anyone has ever put together a map of Schneider 'Freight Lanes'? Or do you just have to figure them out studying the Load Board?

well considering i hardly ever sleep 8 hours between the 2-3 hours leftover and my thirty ill be on there a plenty

I usually run 4-5 days a week and net $1200 -$1500, running the NE. Can vary greatly of course, depending on home time and loads available..... Last week I ran four days all the way from PA to TX and netted $1400, this week working five days from TX to WI to ME to NY I'll net $1800....
Getting 7.5 mpg on this truck, looking forward to 8+ in the new one....Last edited: Aug 3, 2014
knuckledragger and Time4Change Thank this. -
I generally run 11-12 days out.....my GF lives in Atlanta, so I get to see her frequently even on my 'long' week.
Long week, (7 days) net btw $1800 and $2200.
Short week, (5-6 days) net btw $800 and $1200.knuckledragger and Time4Change Thank this. -
I run primarily the NE but go where the money takes me.
I usually average between 4000-5000/week..I've been as high as 5500-5900.
After expenses(which vary) I'll Gross 1500-2200..then take out 27% for taxes 1100-1600 Net..these are the average #'s.
FUEL..FUEL is the biggest expense.
It will eat you alive and if you don't watch it.
I average 7.5-8.5 MPG depending on weight of load and area driving in.
I drive a 2015 KW T680..paccar MX13 w/13 speed.warhippy, knuckledragger and Time4Change Thank this. -
you kinda figure it out by doing (and making mistakes)knuckledragger and Dogals right foot Thank this.

The freight lanes are anywhere a truck route goes. SNI has freight everywhere but figuring out the better paying lanes are the trick.
knuckledragger Thanks this. -
Took me a good 6 months to really figure it out. Mind you for me "figuring it out" means "this is 100% drop and hook super easy very light loads that I can run 24 hours a day, know generally when they are going to show up on the load board and run by OCs all the time".TennMan, knuckledragger and Drifter42 Thank this.
