3 hrs, still waiting. Bought some cigars at the store in Londonderry. Sure wish I had tried one before leaving, would've bought a dozen more!!

 

Now they want to swap my load cause they are nervous about on time delivery. If I didn't want to get rid of this load I would have said no but the swap is so close to where I have to deliver it is worth it to me and I am preplanned out of Logansport to Atlanta 2 stops. I will be in Monee, Il for swap I was suppose to go to Chicago so I lose a few mile but now do not have to worry about how I get out of there after delivery cause of hours. I should be about 3,200 paid miles this week. Last week was not good at 2,300 but the week before 3,368 so it evens out.

Kind of quiet on here tonight but I think that is cause I keep checking. I bet by the morning 2 pages of post will be on here. I know you guys are waiting for me not to be on here and now is your chance so post away got to get driving. LOL

That and the world has changed so the way of doing business has had to change. Online sales are taking a big bite out of WalMart ....it evened the odds on competitive pricing. Dollar General is becoming a WalMart competitor when it was that Target was their nemesis. Dollar General is ahead of the game on having small local stores and since they are buying out Family Dollar that now gives them over 13,000 stores nationwide.

 

jaso, you are starting to give me a complex! If there is no one here you have to tell doofy jokes to entertain yourself .......that's what I do!
It sounds as if this is one of those cases when a swap is going to work to your advantage!

I'm just moving slow this evening .....got a pain in the posterior ......the King told me I would lose ground .....trained with weights today and they kicked my butt!

The local sheriff was looking for a deputy, so a young blonde woman, went in to try out for the job.
“Okay,” the sheriff drawled. “What is 1 and 1?”
“Eleven,” she replied.
The sheriff thought to himself, “That’s not what I meant, but she’s right.”
“What two days of the week start with the letter “T”?”
“Today and tomorrow.”
He was again surprised that the young woman supplied a correct answer that he had never thought of himself.
“Now, listen carefully: Who killed Abraham Lincoln?”
The young woman looked a little surprised herself, then thought really hard for a minute and finally admitted, “I don’t know.”
“Well, why don’t you go home and work on that one for a while?”
So, the young woman wandered over to the beauty parlor, where her friends were waiting to hear the results of the interview. “Well, how did it go?” they asked.
The young woman was excited beyond belief. “It went great! First day on the job and I’m already working on a murder case!”

 

A blonde was complaining to her friend about constantly being called a dumb blonde. Her friend tells her "go do something to prove them wrong! Why don't you learn all the state capitals or something?" The blonde thinks this is a great idea, and locks herself up for two weeks studying.

The next party she goes to, some guy is making dumb blonde comments to her. She gets all indignant and claims, "I'm NOT a dumb blonde. In fact, I can name ALL the state capitals!"

The guy doesn't believe her, so she dares him to test her. He says "Okay, what's the Capital of Montana?"

The blonde tosses her hair in triumph and says, "That's easy! It's M!"
