UPS driver really pissed me off today

1978, still sour about the company and union?

 

Funny u bring up uuuups , I worked for them mid 90's , paid huge union dues , drove as a fill in driver , anyway , can't bring my self to go into the rest of the storie but short version when they had a strike I worked the picket line , and a management member stopped and wanted me to hand out the "Proposal" I told him I would not hand out propaganda , any way after the strike was over about two weeks they decided they " didn't need me any more and , any way was at Walmart just tonight about 800pm saw a driver in uniform had his short sleeved shirt sleeves rolled up like he was at muscle beach , think maybe he stuck in the seventys , looked in my opinion " just unproffesional , did you also know used to be and likely still is that they get paid hourly yes but they had a predetermined time per stop calculation , so if the driver finished early they still got paid the rate based on that so if they find ways to cut , ( in this case in front of you ) they get bonus of sorts as they get paid for the extra hours that they didn't work. But they weren't even supposed to have radios in their trucks , ect ect . Just my .02

 

Trying to decipher. Management ( non union ) Walked up to you at picket line, Offered Propaganda, You refused. You was hired as fill in driver, Was fired 2 weeks later, Spotted muscle beach driver at 8pm last night at wally world and sam walton is alive. Sounds correct.

not to jack this thread, but this is the second post in which you have directed negativity and insults towards me. In a row. It doesn't bother me, but I must question your motivation. It's unnecessary, counter productive and really does demonstrate a lack of intelligence.
