I had a driver that felt everyone was YELLING at him regardless of who talked to him , he no longer works here ( for the company I own, Nothing to do with IRT ) and his new employer is going through the same BS.

The Challenger, Spring Chicken and lugnut84 Thank this. -
Define "here"
-
And they are that way because they know they're the only ones with enough trucks and drivers to handle the freight volume their customers give them, and their customers know it too
-
Oakley and Bynum combined don't have the equipment to move IRT's freight. Nothing against them, doesn't mean they're bad or inferior to us, but IRT's customers don't have anyone else they can call who can move as much as we can move

PM flatbed, he'll tell you about who he is. Very nice guy.
KHFLATBED Thanks this. -
I've seen those kind of guys, too. Anything that you say to them that is the least little bit critical, even if you're trying to help them through a rough spot or improve their performance, is considered YELLING.
Some of these thin skinned people should have the opportunity to experience real yelling. I know a couple of old time mill bosses and loggers who could really show them what actual yelling is all about. They'd know the difference then. After their ears quit ringing, that is.
MidwestResident, lugnut84, FLATBED and 1 other person Thank this. -
jabber has more problems than I ever seen quit worring about yelling just man up I worked there for 14 months never had the issues he does good thread though if I didn't find local job in winter haven I would still bee there made good money
lugnut84, The Challenger and Spring Chicken Thank this. -
If any of y'all are gonna be at orientation in winter haven on Monday I'll see ya there...you'll have to park in the gated parking lot when you show up. I don't remember the gate code, you'll have to get it from whoever's in the office when you get there.

Good luck! Looking forward to seeing you out here.Spring Chicken Thanks this.
