volvo black and gray smoke problem....????

Well if the inside is black is there possibly a leak around turbo is it smoking under hood. Also check turbo actuator the valve on. Turbo is somthing wrong there

 

Hmm it sounds like turbo is screwed. I'm kinda stumped. Lol what I would do is unclamp pipe from rear of turbo and look Inside turbo and down pipe to see if there's any thing coming threw Turbo. If it's all wet I'd say that actuator is leaking in but it could also be pushing from mainafold. Black smoke mean Unburnt fuel white means water in engine and blue means oil. I'd Also check fuel sensors and wires. Maybe when you put turbo on you knocked a sensor or sashed a pair of wires together I have done this makes for a chalangeing problem get back to me let me know if that helped. I also suggest you go to cummins quick serve and start account it's free and you can put your engine serial number in and go threw a trouble shooting trees get wireing diagrams ect it will even teach a guy how to test sensors or even that actuator. That's how all the online mechanics do it lol

 

What did you change turbo for was it broke or close or causing performance issue?

 

So, you started another account and another thread to find answers. Why not just bump your original thread or pm some of the mechanical members here? They surely would have helped.
