These are my two final choices does anyone have anything to say about them? I really like KLLM as my number one choice. Secondly what are my chances of getting on without any work experience? I have been a stay at home mom until the kids left home and this is what I have dreamt of doing for quite some time. Please advice I have no criminal record and no tickets and have never used drugs and do not plan to ever!
KLLM or SRT anyone have experience?

No direct experience with either, but KLLM has fast trucks. Mine's governed at 68 mph and KLLM regularly flies by me
dennisroc and oceanbreeze73 Thank this. -
I am particularly interested in KLLM's CDL school. Has anyone gone there? Care to share?

If you are a woman who will train you, another woman trainer may be a long wait. Find out who will get you on the road quickly. I have heard of a wait for a woman trainer, can be months.

Stay away from SRT, just a bottom of the bucket. Try KLLM if you want.
123456 and easy duz it Thank this. -
And I bet those trucks have LEASED TO KLLM above the logo too. KLLM Company trucks run 60-62

Can you go to kllm school if you're not a tx. resident?
-
I know someone who researched KLLM and everything looked great and then they got there and it was a whole different story
-
Have you looked into May Trucking, I believe they're well known in your area?

think KLLM is opening a "school" in Mississippi as well. so you'd have a choice between ft worth or Mississippi. as for southern, they are owned by covenant, don't know much about them, just don't die in one of their trucks. they tend to not care about you if that happens. http://www.komu.com/news/update-family-outraged-over-company-s-response-to-trucker-s-death/
i'd be looking at MAY, or maybe Maverick if i had to do it all over again.
good luck to ya future Driver.
