I have a 2000 W900 with a 300 WB and a 96 in sleeper, I pull an all Aluminum 48 foot step deck. I am 35500 empty. I am leased to Jones Motor and move a lot of equipment. I rarely run into problems
Who hires the BIG sleepers?

I think we are all going to see a big sleeper revolution. Within the next few years , as truck stops become more and more crowded, been looking at them myself, really when running a permitted load the extra length gennarly don't hurt , but backing is a bit more diffi cult even with experience , it does require a certain amount of space regardless how good you are. ......

I have a cabover with a 168' wheelbase and oooopppss wrong thread.
Another Canadian driver, Ougigoug, icsheeple and 5 others Thank this. -
I think a cabover with a large sleeper like mine would be the best. One could get by with low enough wheel base to run Canada and fit into areas of a normal conventional truck.

All you guys running a "Big House"......which brand do consider the "Best"? Double Eagle went out of business. ICT I believe is still around and or course ARI. Bolt is the new Bentz. I've seen AA Sleepers but mostly on Expedite units. Wasn't there a guy out in Washington building custom Big Houses? What about Evan's Add On's?

Just weighed my truck/trailer yesterday. This full fuel and no load. I had the lift axle up so the steer/drives are a bit heavy but check out the gross. 312" wheelbase. Btw, I have a 10ft sleeve instead of a double frame.

Another Canadian driver, SHO-TYME and kona911 Thank this. -
Nice looking truck Kona but I don't think most, consider that a big house or large sleeper even though it has a long wheel base. I've actually seen a big house sleeper on a cabover with wheelbase around 250

Oh I know it's not a big sleeper, just posted it with the scale ticket to show how much it weighs.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
