I have patience and I mean that I really do but this is just ridiculous. I know patience is part of the trucking industry but this far beyond what I would consider needing patience for. Its like I swear I'm being tested or something and its aggravating me.

Its been two weeks since my orientation with Werner Enterprise and I had to go back home to take care of this medical process cause I'm a special case with my heart condition. No I'm not going in to detail. We believe after the second time that my cardiologist has sent the form along with a release letter saying "I can operate a commercial motor vehicle ect ect" and I've been calling people trying to get information rather they've received what they need so I can return to Georgia and get with my trainer.

Every time I've called I've got a voicemail from two different locations. Finally today I was able to talk to someone that knew what they were doing and what I was waiting and looking for and said I'd get a call back but I haven't received that call. I'm just about ready to call it quits with Werner Enterprise and I'm supposed to get with my government agency for job placement since this isn't going through.

If people seriously wait this long in this industry for things like this or just for loads theres gotta be a change cause its ridiculous.

Welcome to the trucking industry! This is one of the reasons turnover is so high. Werner probably wants you to quit so they can put the next guy in the driver's seat and collect the training money. Good luck to you!

Did they know of the heart condition prior to orientation? Good chance it has them spooked.

Not getting hooked up with Werner would probably be the best thing that could happen to anyone.

Why would they want me to quit when they've paid me already for orientation? In my personal opinion that doesn't make sense. Every dollar counts or penny.

Yes they had us all go through a medical process and when I went in there I told her about it. Thought she had all the paperwork she need but apparently not a recent EKG report or a release form from my cardiologist. Thats the only thing she said they needed and I was okay to go.

I thought I was getting with a good company. Apparently I was wrong. Possibly.

Yes, you chose a company with a very low pay scale. Where do you live? Perhaps we can recommend better starter companies.
