Hey guys and gals. What are your preferred brand of tires? I have had Goodyear 572 LHDs for the last 13 months and am soon to be after a new set. What do you prefer and think is the better? I have also hear that Bridgestones are quite good.
Thanks for any replies.

Your Drives only lasted you 13 months? If you are looking for Longivity and if Rolling Resistance isn't too much of a issue , then the Bridgestone M726EL, in my opinion, are the best longest lasting Drive tires on the market. With proper care and rotation you can easily get 250k miles out of a set.

X2 on the M726Els. Looking around for a deal on a set myself

Everyone has their own preferences, mine are Michelin, can't help myself, I've always been pleased with the life I get from them, XZA3 Steers, XDN2 Drives. But there's nothing wrong with Bridgestone or Good Years.

Recaps on the drives only.

Waz the best " rolling resistance" tire? I do a lot of mountain climbing in a prostar

My last 2 sets were bfg dr 444, lasted 450k miles/ set; last month i got a set of new bfg454, 100RR; I hope they last like dr444.
baha Thanks this. -
What was the deal with your G572's only lasting 13 months? Fortycal runs 572's on his tractor. Speaks highly of and says he's getting a lot of mileage on them. I've got G572 recaps on my drives and think they're the best thing since beer in a can. Wearing really well and the fuel mileage is on par with what I was getting from the smooth worn down yokohamas. My next set of virgins will be 572's. Read some complaints about G399 steers in the garage section also. I've had decent luck with those also.

Your company makes tire decisions for you.

First off, thanks for the replies.
Secondly, I don't know if this will make a difference, but I am in a day cab and run mostly city, but do run a bit of mileage loads, too. I do run into a bit of stop and go/traffic situations when in the city. Is that a difference maker as compared to long haul?
