There are a couple web sites that list literally every trucking company (out of some 500,000 give or take) by state where the OP can do his own research. Chinatown has used this thread for his own purposes in my opinion. Sad. Call it the Chinatown shuffle, does a little dance every day here. Has a list of bottom feeders that he shuffles a little and posts where ever possible.

Whats with trashing Chinatown??? He gave his feedback to the OP. You, Victor, gave your feedback. The OP will process the info and do whats best for him. Why trash someone that is here consistently giving much needed, level headed advice. Your trashing of another poster sure makes you look like an #######.... I notice Chinatown is the bigger man and doesnt bite the sour bait your tossing around....

 

I have to agree with ncmickey here.

While almost all of us know the companies listed that Chinatown posted have less than stellar track records, he knows this as well and has stated so - several times.

And should YOU, THE DRIVER, have a less than stellar record and need a way to get that experience, this is an instance where you can take advantage of them as well in order to use them as a stepping stone to get where it is you want to go or wind up.


The OP asked for advice. Chinatown provided that and has countless times to drivers looking for a way up or out.

To say that Chinatown "Has used this thread for his own purposes" is way out in left field. You seemed to think he has an agenda of some kind (Which if you do, I'd be interested to hear you cough it up) while I see it as helping others.

 

Let me repeat and I'll leave it at that for now. We need to hear from OP.

 

2 years is a while to be out of truck driving but I was able to get back into it being away for 3 years and having done some yard jockey work. It does come back to you. My main question for you would be is your med card still valid? If not your cdl will have gotten down graded to a class C liscense.

They would just put the freight on trains and build more rail yards creating even more local work perhaps?

I like your routine. Please keep it up. In my short time here, I have seen you help many drivers, which I thought was the reason that this web site existed.

 

Nope, you are the reason why I dont even own a cb. If your going to talk like your an economics professor, then back it up with facts. Victor has still not answered my question. Oh well.
