You could rent my barn to live in, Pete. It would be just like a vacation ....you would think you were on a safari or somethin' with all of the critters!

I have come to the conclusion, that my boss is trying to kill me. I've had back to back trips to NYC, and getting lost both times. Calls me today and asks if I have enough hrs to do what he wants. I ask, what's that? Oh... just a 2 dropper in NJ and Maspeth. Without even looking at my logs, told him no. I might could do it but, would have to end up spending the day in Maspeth. No thanks.

Pete, should've just bought a travel trailer. Makes moving a whole lot easier!! :)

:biggrin_2559: That might be awhile! Number Two Daughter even broke a back window in my jeep yesterday .....I was not amused.
They are really turning out to be good bakers, so you could be their guinea pig ......pies, cakes, cookies ....had to buy them new bigger mixing bowls yesterday. They want to make some different breads. I'm surprised that they enjoy it so much.

I haven't seen the bobcat .....just possums, deer and goats right now. The dogs are worn out. They have been chasing goats for two days .....too bad they didn't run them off before they ate my roses.:biggrin_2557: My neighbor says send him a bill ......Ha!

Just some general information for I 70 next week. They are trying to organize a protest that will shut down I 70 in St. Louis for September 10th.

The way that I understood the different levels of inspection, only level 1 through level 5 would apply to you all .....level six is more for hazardous or radioactive freight and level 7 had to do with buses, limos, etc. I had no idea there were this many levels either .....is this new? I'm gonna have to put on my thinking hat and do some more research! Level 4 being non specific ....just anything that they decide to target .....doesn't sit quite right.

    jaso36 Thanks this.

Wow, and I have a preplan to go to the Kansas City area next week from Baxter in North Cove. Better look for a detour, huh. Yesterday killed 5-6 hours in Knoxville TN between swapping, fueling and at the Thermo King for a code fault with 44k of beef in the box. Biggest load I have had yet. Left there and East of Asheville NC, got the code back. Instructed to take to Loves in Marion. X86 off of I 40. Got there just before 5pm and only three spaces left and quickly picked the easiest one to back into. TK guy showed up and I bobtailed to over by the fuel island where they have a car parking area. No place else to park and waited three hours (was near the end of my day anyway). Thank God the repair is holding and no phone calls. Delivery is at 7am and am 90 miles away. 10 almost up. Would like to find a Flying J or Pilot and get a shower near Salisbury. 10 is almost up. Drop at Food Lion DC in Salisbury. Then HOMETIME.

passport220, dennisroc, jaso36 and 2 others Thank this.
