Thanks, but I've heard they even try to force the Choice drivers from the Northeast to stay in this area since lots of folks won't run up here. Needless to say, I hope that was just an untrue rumor as I've otherwise heard lots of good feedback on that lease program.

It's a rumor. They don't force you to do anything, it's called choice for a reason. Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see.

That's ridiculous.... It's called Choice for a reason.... YOU pick YOUR loads off of the computer... No one else is involved or has any say in the matter...I live in the NE and leave the area all the time....NO ONE has ever or will ever tell me what loads to pick or where to run.... Period...

Thanks for the info, as it's sometimes hard to know what's fact versus fiction.

How are they going to do that when you pick your own loads? My hubby is on a Schneider lease program with about 6 weeks to go before this lease is up..Am I a happy camper? Hell no! He has to stay out for months at a time and was home last week for 6 days the first time since Nov. 1. .Why? you ask? because that 1200 plus truck payment with insurance, escrow, maintenance added in has to be paid weekly..not counting your fuel cost. And no, he was not a new driver..Been OTR for over 20 yrs. Driver, I am not telling you not to do this..I am saying this though...Think about it and Do Your Homework.

Wow, almost a year without going home. Sounds more like a avoiding wife problem.

Kinda seems that way. There should be no reason to stay out that long.
