General Mills loads out of the Roanoke, TX warehouse to the Walmart DC in Los Lunas, NM were that way. Whenever I scaled at the Pilot down the street, they'd ask, General Mills?
Didn't matter about the tandem position since it was a Texas to NM run but still.
Pre-loaded trailers always overweight on tandems. Shipper doesn't care. Any advice?

I wish there were a lot more drivers like you that give a crap about hosing the next guy with an messed up trailer. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm sure the next guy appreciates being able to hook up to it and go.
NavigatorWife, Lepton1, randomname and 1 other person Thank this. -
When you see the boss on friday just say, not a bad week only wasted18 man hours fixing them over weight loads... hoping for 16 hours next week.

What I would be doing is talk to dispatch .After so many times u get tired of trying to make loads legalcfrom the same shipper over and over You've got things to do too why should u have to spend a couple hrs trying to get loads legal from the same crust day in day out.I'm all for getting LDS legal for the next driver but. Not w when it comes to unreasonable shippers.I say let your company deal with it.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I reread your post and see u have talked to dispatch. So what's the drivers doing with the lds u can't get legal?I understand your concern but u can only do so much.I wouldn't be stressing too much over it.Youre doing your part and that's the main thing .Nothing u can do if the shipper isn't willing to meet u halfway.

No if and or butts shipper has to make it right for the whole trip they just need to learn to take one or 2 off. I had 1 shipper one time ld'ing us and while I sat there 4 trucks came back to have some removed(2000+ # over) he knew and kept try to tell the office guys just let not ld a bundle they refused called dispatch told them they are purposely loading heavy and if I have to come back to unload some they better add 100 to the bill for the extra 40 miles and time before I was ld'ed loader recieved a call and kept one off. I was 3400# shy and one bundle was close to 5000#
