Aha! I knew I was missing someone! I have lost track of your whereabouts also wulfman.

Our friend Gordon has been missing for quite awhile also. I am hoping that he and Mrs. Gordon have been off on a grand adventure this summer and too busy to check in.

Everything is fine over here in Korea , just been reading the new post and keeping a little busy at work.
Hope all is going well for everyone.

I see Aquarius 169 is a Newbie also and he will find a ton of information on here as I have over the last several months. Not only about TA but trucking in general.

I always try to thank everyone on here for their help but if I ever missed anyone it was probably because I got behind on reading so I will take the time now and say thanks to all of you for the great info. :yes2557:

And have a great day !!!

My bad little badger self is in a good mood. I got rid of the last load with no problems at any of the stops and there a was an AWESOME vape shop at the truck stop I took my break at so I've got several new bottles of yummy juice and new cotton and wire to build coils and blow some head turning clouds. :) As I type this I am getting loaded at Vijon in Mt Juliet, TN and then I get to go camp out in West Memphis at the Flying J to wait for a swap. They asked me yesterday if I wanted to go home early or run out and back again and I said run. I wanted at least 600 more miles before I would be ok to go home. Today knocks out 500 of those and whatever I get in a swap will take care of the rest. I had two different newer lease drivers ask for my number yesterday which I'm always happy to give out if they have questions. I also tell the new guys I meet about the forum. People are always surprised when they find out I've been here nearly two years, leasing the whole time.

It's a small world. Yesterday at my last stop I was talking to a JCT driver and we were talking about leasing. He looked at my truck and asked if I had any friends that drove for TransAm and I said I've got lots of friends. He described a guy and I showed a picture. Come to find out he ran into my best friend Coburn when we were in California and they were picking up produce and I git pillows. Apparently they were talking about me! Lol

HB, small world, isn't it? That's neat, about the guy running into your best friend.

Jaso, isn't your wife going to really miss you, 5 weeks out? Wow! Does she work outside the home? Hope all goes well there.

Dennis, I got behind reading too. It's been extra crazy/or busy around here lately. Sunday our church minister retired after 35 years of service. We had a dinner party of sorts to wish them well and celebratewith them. It was a sad time. About 500 people were there. Clean up afterwards was a beast! We were there a couple of hours afterwards doing dishes, etc. It was a great time though. At least I got home before George did. I like to be here to greet him for his hometime!

Welcome to the thread Aquarius! I wish you much luck in your choice of trucking and which company to go with. As many have already told you, TA is a good starter company....as long as you don't go lease from the start!

Take care and be safe, Everyone! :biggrin_255:

A word on the importance of checking your BOL'S before leaving. Glad I checked mine cause my load is going to Obetz, Oh but the BOL'S said Tx. Would not only have been embarrassing to show up with those but probably a big PITA!! Check your BOL'S! !!! BTW, this was a 1st for me.

I found this thread, Aquarius, it might give you a good list to start your research with. I'm not sure how many of them accept student drivers, you might have to look that part up.
