Great stuff. One thing that's needed is a projected average $ per mile. Setting a gross income goal is good, but the rate per mile will play a major impact on net profit.
-
If you only set a rpm goal but don't run the miles you'll fail look big picture and it's clearer

PoleCrusher and TennMan Thank this. -
Just got off the phone with SNI and SFI. Received my "conditional offer" from SNI and pretty much all approved at SFI. No new trucks available at SFI for 2-3 months, but two black 2014 EVOs available in 3-4 weeks. Not sure if I should wait or not. Around 120,000 mi really isn't bad, as long as its not a problem truck. Guess I'll see what the ECM has to say.
knuckledragger Thanks this. -
haha. I'm in pretty much the same boat.

I had her reserve one for me. Seen plenty of brand new trucks break down and spend weeks in the shop. I'll take a good look at it and see. Remember its not a walk away lease so be careful.

So I have a truck teady for me in Charlotte if I want it. 2014 black EVO, 455hp 2.64 rears. Basic company truck specs as far as I can tell from spec sheet. Battery power apu w/ inverter. I can take it to freightliner for ecm pull and inspection if I want. 134k mi and is coming off a completed lease, previous driver is trading up. The DD15 motor has developed a reputation for being very reliable and fuel efficient. I'm not looking for flash, I'm here to make money.
Since I'm not that familiar with these trucks I would appreciate any thoughts or advice.ew2108 Thanks this. -
I have one with the same specs except a diesel apu. They are not flashy by any means, but so far it's been reliable and gets good mpg. The one you are looking at is just now getting broken in good. I got mine with a little over 27k on it and now have 75k in a little over 4 months[been running too many miles lol] I would still get the ecm pull just to be sure, but they are good overall trucks. As they say, chrome don't get you home. If the ecm pull is good, I say go for it for a year and then upgrade if you like. It will still have alot of warranty left.knuckledragger, PoleCrusher and ew2108 Thank this.

I'm in the same boat. I am concerned about black in color. Was told the sleeper temp can be 6 degrees warmer in the summer.
Find out the buyout at lease end. Was told a new 2015 Cascadia is $120k after 1 year. Seems high. What do they cost new?
