Thanks, Oneshot, will look forward to seeing your numbers. BTW, do you have an insight as to how the drivers based out of Dallas are running and to where?
Ashley Furniture? Good company?

#### it's early lol but I'd much rather be up and rolling at 0300 than trying to park then.
In Arcadia actually got a long one off the yard this week and planned the first time I called in Monday. Sure as I get used to a consistent pattern then it changes up. Difficult trip up should have taken 18hrs but took 22 and got here with 4 minutes left yesterday. Took 4hrs to get around Chicago in that rain yesterday.
Got one out of here to ecru. If I get the usual load home out of there I'll sneak in a day early with only 2600 as well. Seems to be one of those weeks for everyone. Another PTP guy up here only had 1900 and is taking an LTL load down to Indiana just so he can finish out with decent miles for the week.
#### chilly up here this morning. Sky looked like it could have snowed a ton before I went to bed. Calling for the first frost maybe freeze up here by weekend. Not looking forward to winter. Just not a cold weather kinda person. Gotta get back down south where I belong lolATX Thanks this. -
Well the ptp guys are running good, because they are so far from the factory's like I am, this is the end of the slow part of the year, so things are going to be picking back up again.
I do not know how the Dallas LTL guys are doing, but I do know the Huston guys near by are slammed.ATX Thanks this. -
Well I found out that I was spot on for the mileage 2600 this week, and found out why----LOL
Up were the dispatcher's hide, they are not technically endowed-- they do not like to go too far into people-net to see what you may have for hours remaining ( that's why they ask you to call in all the time ), in my case last week (2025) they thought I had 2900 miles before my get home load-well I didn't I had 2025, but they did try to correct that with a 606 round trip shuttle run to Atlanta-but did say no = Lets see home for a Fri-Mon morning or run Atlanta on a Fri afternoon---HMMMMM nope! LOL
Now this week they did it again--they did not look at people-net right- it said I had 57 hrs used ( they thought I was on a restart, but I was on a re-cap had another 11 hrs coming at mid-night, and I told them last Fri I was going out this week on a recap- They forgot) so they said we have got to issue you your get home load and would only have about 3 hrs remaining after getting to Fl, wrong again, but I was like a little church mouse and kept quiet and got another Fri-Mon morning at home #### nice!
They did call me Fri on the why home and ask which run I would like to have on Monday and picked one frm Ga to Ecru--open time for load and delivery-NICE!
So we shall see what and how they are going to get me home to Fl, since they have now shifted everything to Advance NC, would not mind taking a foam load frm Ecru to Madison WS, then deadhead to Arcadia WS, to Advance to FL what a nice run that would be-we shall see.
Working on mileage numbers for the past year or so will post soon.
Next week I feel will be back to normal.
I was in the truck shop Ecru, had a windshield pump, and a missing mud flap, drove me in had it replaced and fixed in 45 mins-real good the best--.
And my ATT wifi, pooped out after 1.5 yrs , had replace that today - that hurt!
I use PCS_METRO for phone service etc, it does well, and ATT wifi hotspot for the computer stuff, it does a great job.
It is nice to have the Ashley kicking $30. bucks towards the phone bill every month, makes my PCSMETRO bill down to $5. a month for unlimited everything real nice! So the total bill for everything is $55 a month (ATT wifi $50.00). Not bad!Last edited: Sep 13, 2014

yeah Atlanta on Friday afternoon isn't happening. I was in that delimma friday afternoon.....rolling across the line into Ga around 1430 with 2:20 on the clock I could stop short or run 2:05 to the closest parking coming out the other side. tuned in 95.5 on the way in and already at 1430 they were saying it was already a jammed up ########### all the way around so no choice there lol stop short in villa rica at the wilco and then run it on in Saturday in the wee hours
I got ecru / advance home as expected for 2600 for the week. Snuck in early today that's going to give me a chance to reset my reset. Told them to plan me out Monday so that puts me on recap but carrying 20hrs over that gives me 10 each mon and tue then pick up 11,11,10 and 9 so I should be good through next weekend and hopefully put me on a mon-sat and off that #### tue reset.
James called from the shop today. My girl is getting new shoes and an alignment for Monday.
Even though the miles sucked on this check......due to getting in so late last Sunday....I still brought home 800 for 1989 miles. I'd have had to do 1000 more miles and/or have a student on the truck and run all northeast to bring that home at my previous gig. So, carrying over that last trip to this check ill clock 3636 miles. Changing the reset should eliminate the hi-lo-hi-lo I've been getting on my checks by making it so I get that last trip in before cutoff and even things out a bit.
All in all it's turning out to have been a good move to take that chance and make the change and come here.Last edited: Sep 13, 2014

heads up too for some changes in advance coming by the end of the month.
they are starting to move production from the one little line they had in the building across from the truck shop to the main building. it's actually starting to look like arcadia in the production area in the main building lol they're really going to be pumping product out of that building sooner rather than later. construction is going wide open across the whole facility and when they're done with that building they're going to be building another one just like it right behind it and to the left.
the shipping/driver's area is going to move from where it is now on the right side of the building by month end. so, if you roll into advance by end of month and nothing is where you remember it being lol......the shipping/driver's area is going to move to the other side far corner of the main building......so, coming in from the guard house, if you go left to where the loads are, go all the way down that side of the building to the end far corner and that's where the driver's area / offices and everything is going to be. the area where it currently is has almost been completely converted to productionONESHOT1997 and ATX Thank this. -
well you guys seem to be doing pretty good. I ran down and back from leesport to Holland ma all week long and delivered my first store load this morning. get to head west on Monday get sick of all that ttraffic up to Holland. miles have been good 2500+ every week so far.

Well on 8-16 I did about 2214, and grossed= 972
8-23- 2714 = 1214
8-30- 3724 = 1613
9-07- 2034 = 913
9-14- 2600 = 1170
AVG for the last 5 weeks= 2657 miles pay avg=1176
A little below where I should be for pay, but I have been taken the extra time off when I can, but its getting time to start to crank it up again. LOL
But I am taking advantage of the quiet time.
Yep even the short weeks are better than most others good weeks.Last edited: Sep 14, 2014

Curious as to what Orientation is like and where?
-
This is how it has broke down for the last yr and half (gross pay), it will not include the 4 safety bonus's, or any referral bonus, or profit sharing, (THAT WILL BE TALLYED UP AT THE BOTTOM FOR THE YR TOTALS), this (2014) is the first yr I qualifie for profit sharing, and does include the X-mas month bonus we due receive in Dec. That all can add up to about 7500 in extra pay or better. For 2014
The dotted lines with nothing in them, show's I do not have that info on hand in my files for some reason, (except 2013, start was 03-22 for pay) but it was worked (2014).
Now it is hard to brake down that pay info in the columns, but it does include, layover-pay, management drop fees ( extra money ) etc.
Also I had a few weeks of ice storms (2014) which affected earnings but was paid some lay over fees, and given options just to turn around and go home for the week's, that weather was a problem, which I did.
Some of the weeks that look like I was slammed with miles, was also some run carry overs for pay from the past week, which did not make payroll cut off times. The biggest week I have still stands at 3811=6 days this July 2014.
I still figure with all the bonus's included (FOR 2014, PROFIT SHARING BEING THE BIG ONE THIS YR-2014, 3 OUT OF 4 QUARTERS BEING QUALIFIED FOR THIS YEAR), its around 1325 a week plus, not too bad, next year it will be all 4 quarters.
And as you can see for 2013 it was at the end of the year avg weekly=1250 , including all bonus's for 2013.
But it should give you folks a solid idea on what to expect.
