I am finishing cdl school

 

I am not a driver yet but read something on here I think about a guy that had ####roaches in his truck. Not sure if it was when he first got the truck or he had it awhile.

Anyway , how does that happen ? I would refuse to drive a truck with roaches in it or without a new mattress. I also read that some trucks have bed bugs.

Is this a common problem or just a few stories of this happening.

Anyone have any info or other stories of bugs , critters , snakes , etc....

Yes was planning on eating breakfast but woke up late for me so I just grabbed some chips and ran. Good prices on breakfast

 

In Ashland, Va. less than 9 miles to my stop. Plenty of time. Hopefully I get 4 games today but if not at least 2 would be fine by me. Supervalue is slow to unload but I hope they are quick tonight. LOL. I just want to get home. Won't be a great week but should get 2400 this week with 2 days at home. Got my custom short Barnwell, Sc. to Mt. Vernon, Tx. I hope it is a light load

Am in Mountville, Pa waiting on the sister to show up. Who am I, to argue with 2 of the bosses sons, when they say that we have no load for you, go visit your sister. Delivery was only 23 miles away and Americold was on the ball this morning. Next weekend......... some much needed HT and visiting with the brother. Life is good.


At my company, not only do we get new matresses but they also detail the truck before a new driver gets it.

 

I always got a new mattress too, but I always buy a mattress topper from MattressInsider.com. They cut a very comfortable foam topper specifically for the mattress in your truck since there's not really much standardization in truck mattress sizes. Sleep like a baby so well I wish I could afford one for my bed at home.

 

Thanks for the info, DenaliDad. From what I saw on their website there is no tax unless you are in Colorado and free shipping.

 

Ewwww, dennisroc! We never had any of those problems. As Pete said the trucks are cleaned before they are issued .....but there is clean and there is CLEAN, so we always did a very thorough cleaning and disinfecting.
