I will be at orientation here in a couple weeks. Just put my 2 weeks notice in yesterday where I currently work. Got to call the orientation center in Rockford tomorrow and find out what day they have orientation. Got my packet in the mail yesterday also with all the stuff in it. Getting nervous and excited at the same time.

How you doing on fuel mileage? I just bought a 2001 classic xl with a cummins redtop, going to be pulling fb with it...it has a super 10. What mileage and overhauls does your engine has and curious what you paid for it. Mine has 450k on a complete overhaul and spent 18,900 on it.

I paid 19k. 750k miles on the odometer and ECM. I don't have any overhaul paperwork, but this motor is so clean. Doesn't have one leak. When I changed the oil it took 1500 miles before the oil got dirty. Mileage wise, I was getting 9mpg empty, and 6mpg loaded. 2.83 rears, so I'm at 1500 rpm at 70 mph. Lots of wind resistance at that speed. I'll be switching over to a full synthetic, and trying a few other things out before I change the rear axle ratio to 3.73. Supposedly had a new tranny, but no paperwork on that either. I'm hoping to get 1.3 million before an overhaul. I'd strongly recommend getting the FS2500 bypass oil filter.

Agent came through this morning. Headed to KS, and I booked another load to TX about 60 miles away from delivery. Parked in Denver for the night.

I cannot believe this a hole I'm parked next to. His air purge is going off every 8 seconds and hissing like a mo fo. What a moron, I'm wondering how he can deal with it. It's not hot out, I'd just shut the truck off. Ok ok rant over.

Ok, I walked over there to see what the deal was. This genius has the high idle set, air is hissing from everywhere, and he has an APU running... WTF

I have an 01 volvo 770. Not the best truck to go skateboarding with but it was a decent deal and was cared for.
